We are very proud to announce Jamie as Ridge Rock’s head brewmaster.

Originally born in Ottawa. Jamie moved to Boston area in 1988 and got his first job in brewing in 2001 at the Union Station Brewery in Rhode Island. He started as an assistant and moved his way up the ladder to become the head brewer from 2002 to 2003. At the end of 2003 he did a quick stint at John Harvard’s Brewery and Ale House in Massachusetts before moving to Vermont. From 2009 to 2014 he worked as a brewer at the famous Harpoon Brewery in Vermont. In 2014 he moved back to Ottawa and helped to open Calabogie Brewing Company. He was the head brewmaster there until this year when he decided to jump on board with the partners of Ridge Rock Brewery in Carp.

We love the beer that Jamie brews and with our equipment setup and company culture we feel he has all the tools to do great things! Glad to have you on board Jamie!
