Work for your wine at KIN this weekend
CARP – KIN Vineyards is hosting a Harvest Party this weekend at their vineyard in Carp.
“Harvest is in full swing and we would love your help,” the popular local vineyard released in a statement. “Due to the declining temperatures and impending frosty nights, we have decided to hold the Harvest Party this Saturday, Oct. 12. We’ll spend the morning harvesting and then celebrate with a lunch and some wine afterwards to thank our wonderful volunteers. If that’s not the perfect way to spend an October morning, we don’t know what is.”
Dates are tentative and weather dependent.
“ologies for the late notice but the early frost is making it crucial that we complete the harvest as soon as possible so we can bury the vines,” KIN said. “Please RSVP as soon as possible and we really hope to see you there.”
KIN asks you bring your own personal gardening shears and dress for the weather – “we will be out in the fresh air all morning.”
