Woman shot walking off-trail in Madawaska Valley

KILLALOE – An Etobicoke woman received a non-life threatening gunshot would while walking off-trail on Madawaska Valley Oct. 2.

The Killaloe OPP continue to investigate the shooting.

Police say shortly after 2 p.m., on Friday Oct. 2, officers responded to a 911 call at a residence on Silas Lane. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim received the gunshot wound while walking off trail in the area of John Watson Road and Silas Lane.

A 20-year old woman from Etobicoke was airlifted to hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
