Wolverines recruiting football coaches for 2020 season

WEST CARLETON – Have you seen classic football movies like Remember the Titans, The Longest Yard, The Replacements or North Dallas 40? All those coaches were leaders and you can be too with the West Carleton Wolverines.

West Carleton’s incredible football club is looking to fill key roles leading up to the 2020 season.

“The Wolverines are looking for coaching staff at all levels,” the club released in a statement.

The youth football program serves West Carleton, Kanata North and the Ottawa Valley and has teams for girls who want to play touch football as well as co-ed tackle for tyke, mosquito and peewee age levels (ages eight to 13).

“You don’t need to have a child in the program to be a Wolverine coach,” volunteer Libby McCalden said. “Did you play for the Wolverines once upon a time? Did you play with another club and remember fondly those warm summer nights spent with friends on the field? Why not give kids a chance at those memories? Come coach Wolverines football.”
