WOCRC Snow Go program has a few open walkways

WEST CARLETON – The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) Snow Go Assist program still has room to clear a few more walkways and driveways.

“Not registered yet?” WOCRC staff released in a statement Oct. 5. “Still room for a few more applications.”

Snow Go Assist is a subsidy program for low incomd seniors and persons with disabilities who require financial assistance with their snow removal costs.

“Approved clients may be reimbursed for up to 50 per cent of the cost of snow and ice clearing, up to a seasonal maximum,” the WOCRC said.

Applicants must provide proof of income.
