WOCRC provides free transportation for WC youth

WEST CARLETON – Youth between 12 and 18 who need a ride can put their thumbs away and contact the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) for a free lift this summer.

“Are you between 12 and 18 years and in need of transportation this summer?” the WOCRC released in a statement. “The WOCRC is offering free drives for youth in West Carleton to and from Kanata this summer.”

Pick-ups and drop-off locations can be found in Dunrobin, Carp, Fitzroy and Constance Bay. To request a ride, participants mush fill out a Youth Transportation Service Request Form. Youth requiring a ride must also provide the contact information of a parent or guardian.

Rides are available Wednesdays and Fridays throughout summer.
