OTTAWA – A west end man has been arrested for possession of child pornography following the execution of a search warrant.

“In June 2020, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) commenced an investigation that resulted in a search warrant executed on July 29, at a home in Ottawa’s west end,” Ottawa police released in a statement today (Oct. 1). “No person was taken in custody at the time.”

Today, Patrick Haley, 38 of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
