The leagues has almost wrapped up for the season save but a few of the older divisions still in playoffs, but Championship Day is the final day for age groups U14 to U8 and more than 17 ball games were played with a barbecue thrown in for good measure.

The WCSA doesn’t keep score for U10 or U8 teams, but it’s game on for the older groups.

Kinburn defeated Fitzroy 10-4 for the A championship, while Carp 1 defeated Carp 2 11-9 for the B Final.

In U14 Kinburn 2 took on Fitzroy for the A final with Fitzroy winning in close one 7-6. Constance Bay defeated Carp for the B Final.

“What a great day for softball,” WCSA volunteer and coach Adam Brown said. “The kids had fun and we thank the coaches for volunteering.”
