WCOHL equipment exchange Dec. 7

CARP – If you are going to play in one of Canada’s oldest outdoor hockey leagues, you’re going to need some equipment.

The West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League’s (WCOHL) annual equipment exchange is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carp outdoor rink.

“The Huntley Community Association’s (HCA) WCOHL Carp teams will be hosting the annual Hockey Equipment Exchange at the Carp outdoor rink,” the HCA released in a statement. “Missing some equipment, need a size bigger for your budding hockey player. Drop by and check out what we have available. If you happen to have some gently used equipment you have outgrown or no longer need please feel to drop it off on Saturday as well. You might be able to help out a budding hockey star.”

The exchange is open to all outdoor hockey participants from the WCOHL, however we are open to helping out others who find something they need,” organizers said.

If you are interested in registering your child in one of the three community’s teams, links can be found here. You do not have to live in the community to participate on the team. Registration closes Dec. 15.
