WCFAC giant book sale looking for volunteer sorters

CARP – Volunteer your time and get a sneak peek at all the great books for sale this Wednesday (July 24) as the West Carleton Food Access Centre (WCFAC) needs help sorting as they prepare for their biggest fundraiser of the year.

Volunteers are needed to help sort the mountains of books in to categories to make it easier for shoppers to browse. Sorting will happen Wednesday, July 24 starting at 9:30 a.m. at 3075 Carp Rd.

The facility the books are being stored in has a dirt floor so closed-toe shoes are recommended.

The WCFAC Annual Book Sale is scheduled for the Carp Agricultural Hall the weekend of Sept. 6 and 7. Books range in price from $1 to $3.
