NAPANEE – The kids from West Carleton took their ball skills down to southeastern Ontario and brought home a championship.

The West Carleton Electric U12 Rep Boys team played in an eight-team tournament in Napanee last  weekend. winning four games and tying one to win the tournament championship.

In the round robin they beat Peterborough 15-5, they tied Napanee 4-4 and defeated Oshawa 11-1.

In the semi-finals they squeaked by Springbrook 7-6 and defeated Napanee 6-5 in a championship rematch. Both playoff games were decided in the bottom of the seventh inning.
