WC soccer registration closes April 22

WEST CARLETON – You have five more days to register your child for house league soccer this season.

Registration for the West Carleton Soccer Club (SCSB) is open for house league players until April 22. Teams will be made at each community centre as numbers permit.

The WCSC is dedicated to the physical, mental, and emotional development of our youth through an organized soccer program.

“We are committed to providing the best possible experience for our young players through the encouragement of fun, fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship,” the WCSC released in a statement. “Through teaching by example and by positive reinforcement our players will come away from their years in the WCSC with happy memories, good soccer skills and the tools needed for their future success.”

The club has teams in Women’s, Micro, House League and Talons (Competitive Teams) divisions.

WCSC includes House League teams from U-6 through to U-18. Programs for younger players include Micro program for U4 and U5.  Parents can choose for U5 players whether they are better suited to the Micro program or U6.

WCSC Women’s teams play in the Goulbourn Lanark Soccer League (GLSL) and Ottawa-Carleton Soccer League (OCSL).

The club sponsors indoor and outdoor player development programs, coach training and referee clinics.
