WC Online takes Tuesday pancake tour

WEST CARLETON – If you like breakfast for dinner, Shrove Tuesday (Feb. 25) is the best time of the year in West Carleton.

Three area churches hosted pancake suppers last Tuesday and there were plenty of people to go around as large crowds kept volunteer cooks busy at each spot.

St. Thomas’ Anglican Church in Woodlawn, St. James the Apostle Anglican Church Parish Hall in Carp and St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Constance Bay all hosted Shrove Tuesday Pancake Suppers at their respective churches, or in the case of St. Gabriel’s at Branch 616, the West Carleton Royal Canadian Legion.

West Carleton Online can report that all three appeared well-attended and the diners well fed. Following are photos from each stop:
