WEST CARLETON – Summer is winding down (shut your mouth) and it’s time for junior-aged hockey players to strap on the blades and get ready for the West Carleton Inferno training camp.

Players interested in playing Junior C hockey with the Inferno this fall and winter, born between 1999 and 2003, are invited to register online at www.infernojuniorhockey.com. Register by Aug. 20 and pay an early bird price.

“The main training camp will consist of intra-squad games followed by two exhibition games,” general manager John Miolta said.

Intra-squad games are scheduled for:

• Thursday, Sept. 5, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the John G Mlacak Arena (Kanata)
• Sunday, Sept. 8, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the John G Mlacak Arena (Kanata)
• Monday, Sept. 9, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Bell Sensplex – Bradleys (Kanata)

Exhibition games are scheduled for:

• Sunday, Sept. 15 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bell Kanata Sensplex-Bradley’s pad
• Game two has not been scheduled yet
