WEST CARLETON – If you’re a fan of soccer, footie season is always on your mind.

Tryouts for the West Carleton Talons soccer club are less than a month away (Feb. 15) and registration is on.

“If you are looking to play competitive soccer in West Carleton, don’t forget to register for tryouts,” the club released in a statement Jan. 19.

The 2020 competitive assessments/tryouts registration period for girls and boys born between 2003 and 2011 is ongoing. That includes all groups between U9 and U17. All sessions take place at the OZ Dome at 221 Westbrook Rd.

The tryout fee is $30 and non-refundable. If you have questions you can email the Talons director of competitive teams, Erik Veldman at talons@wcsc.ca.

The West Carleton Soccer Club will also be holding its annual general meeting in February. The AGM is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at the West Carleton Amateur Sports Club at 3832 Carp Rd. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
