OTTAWA – Ottawa police are looking for a suspect who made off with cigarettes, lottery tickets and some money after an armed robbery in the Billings Bridge area Feb. 8.

The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s assistance to identify a male suspect involved in a robbery at a convenience store on in the 1400 block of Walkley Road on Feb.  8.

At about 1:30 a.m. a man entered the convenience store, produced a knife and demanded money. The suspect fled with cigarettes, lottery tickets and an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30’s. He was wearing a dark winter jacket, dark t-shirt, dark pants and dark toque.
