CORKERY – The victim of the fatal crash in Corkery on Sept. 23 has been identified as Jordan Schnob of Arnprior.

Emergency crews responded to a crash near the intersection of Upper Dwyer Hill Road and Vaughan Side Road around 5:20 p.m. on Sept. 23. The violent collision involved two vehicles with one rolling over. Firefighters had to extricate two occupants. To read the entire story, click here.

Friends have set up a gofundme page to support the family.

“It is with great sadness we have to share this news of the unexpected passing of Jordan Schnob on Sept.,” fundraiser Diane Dick-Lapensee wrote. “He had a smile that filled up a room or the ballpark, a contagious laugh. You always knew Jordan was playing. He was the loudest guy on the field. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Please consider donating to help Megs move forward a little easier with out Jordan.”

Ottawa police continue to investigate the incident.
