(UPDATE 5/30): West end, 81-year-old woman missing
UPDATE (5/30): “The Ottawa Police Service Missing Persons Section informs that Mrs. Lajeunesse was located safe and sound late last evening,” the OPS released today. “Thank you for your assistance.”
OTTAWA – The Ottawa Police Service Missing Persons Section is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 81 year old woman.
Barbara Lajeunesse was last seen at her residence in the city’s west end earlier today and her family is concerned for her well-being.
She is described as a Caucasian female, 5’7” (170 cm) tall, medium build, short grey hair and wears prescription glasses. Clothing is unknown. Lajeunesse was driving a brown Hyundai Hatchback, licence plate CJJC 492. Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Barbara Lajeunesse is asked to call the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222.
