RENFREW COUNTY – Renfrew County hits nine confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of yesterday (April 6).

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) confirmed another two cases of COVID-19 in the area yesterday.

As of 8 p.m. on Sunday night there was a total of nine confirmed cases and one death. The RCDHU says they’ve tested 500 people with 171 results still pending.

The health unit says you do not require a phone assessment to access COVID-19 care. Residents are asked to complete an online self-assessment to help determine what to do.
