Two minors charged in Bayshore swarming
OTTAWA – Two youth are charged but police are still looking for information in the case of a swarming that left one youth unconscious.
On Thursday, March 14 at 5:40 p.m., four males approached a 15-year-old male victim in the 100 block of Bayshore Drive. The suspects demanded money and the victim refused. The suspects then punched and kicked the victim until he was unconscious. The victim suffered serious injuries.
The Robbery Unit has arrested and charged two 15-year-old males, both from Ottawa, with robbery, assault and aggravated assault.
Both youths are scheduled to appear in court on April 30. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying two other male youths involved.
