Two arrested in Kanata in stolen vehicle
NEPEAN – Two suspects were caught last week in Kanata in the vehicle they are accused of stealing.
“Ottawa police recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested two men after an incident in the area of Merivale Road and Hunt Club Road,” the Ottawa Police Service released in a statement July 9.
The vehicle was stolen in that area on July 4, around 2 a.m. An officer then located the stolen vehicle in the area of March Road and Teron Road in Kanata. Two suspects were in the vehicle and were arrested without incident.
In the vehicle, officers found break and enter tools, as well as stolen property.
Ryan Fulton, 47, of Ottawa faces five charges related to the crime. Roy Wiggins, 39, of Gatineau faces six charges. Fulton and Wiggins appeared in court on Friday, July 5.
