OTTAWA – For the first time in the city’s history, the 2021 World Curling Championship is coming to Ottawa.

Curling Canada and the World Curling Federation jointly announced the country’s capital city will host the championship at TD Place Arena yesterday (June 16).

The 2020 men’s championship in Glasgow, Scotland, was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic as was the women’s tournament in Prince George, B.C.
