Tennis time in Carp

CARP – Whether you’re new to the sport or Boris Becker, it’s time to tighten up the catgut and head to the courts.

The Carp Tennis Club is kicking off the season with the club’s open house this Saturday (May 25) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Check out the courts, get a game in and more. The courts will be available for play and the club will host a free clinic for adults and kids.

There will be pizza and refreshments and a chance to win one of two new Yonex tennis racquets.

The Carp Tennis Club, a volunteer-run tennis club, and a member of the OTA (Ontario Tennis Association) and the NTCA (National Capital Tennis Association) and is in partnership with the City of Ottawa.

The club offers instruction, tournaments, summer camps and social events. The club is located on the Carp Fair grounds at the corner of Langstaff Road and Juanita Road.
