DUNROBIN SHORES – Hey dad’s, shut down the barbecue, Pinhey’s Point needs you.

Take the Father’s Day Challenge Sunday, June 16 at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

“Travel back in time to the era of the March Township Gentry to complete a series of challenges before time runs out and you alter the course of history,” Pinhey’s Point staff released in a statement. “If you succeed in your quests, you may change your own future. If you fail, the history of Pinhey’s Point will forever be marked by this day. The clock is ticking. The sand is slipping through the hourglass. Lives could be at stake; history changed. The future rests on your shoulders, and time is running out. Will you be in time?”
Live History is the Governor General’s Award nominated theatre group that specializes in bringing local history to life. They will host the event and help provide the experience.

The experience takes approximately 60 minutes to complete and will run at regular intervals throughout the day. Final admission is at 3 p.m. The cost is $6.75 per person. ottawa.ca/pinheyspoint
