Suspect breaks, enters and commits fraud
KANATA – A thief is wanted for fraud and break and enter after using a credit card he stole from a home in March.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a fraud as
well as the break and enter it is linked to, and is seeking the public’s
assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
On the morning of Saturday, March 2, a residential break and enter occurred in
the 300 block of (area of) Livery Street in Ottawa. An unknown male suspect
stole the homeowner’s wallet containing several identification cards and a
credit card.
Several hours later the stolen credit card was used fraudulently at a grocery store and a gas station in Brockville area.
The suspect was described as Caucasian male in his 20s. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black Gucci brand baseball cap and white Nike Air Jordan shoes.
