CARP – Farm and Food Care Ontario will be in Carp Feb. 25 to Speak Up for Agriculture.

Farm and Food Care Ontario executive director Kelly Daynard will lead the conversation on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the event held at the Carp Agricultural Society (3790 Carp Rd.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Learn more about the average consumer, what they know about farming and how they think about food,” organizers released in a statement. “Enhance skills to effectively tell your farm story to those who are less familiar with farming.”

Attendees will learn skills to better able themselves to engage in a positive conversation about food and farming.

“Join your fellow farmers and agriculture community members in this proactive initiative to get the message out about agriculture,” organizers said.
