KINBURN – Brian Foley’s first Hootenanny was a huge success, far exceeding organizers’ highest expectations.
The sad story behind the incredible fundraiser was also West Carleton Online’s most viewed story of 2019.
So it is with much anticipation Brian Foley’s Second Annual Hootenanny has announced a date. And that date is Saturday, April 25.
“Join us for Brian Foley’s second Annual Hootenanny,” organizers released in a statement Jan. 10. “All profits will be donated to the families of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.”
The hootenanny will be held at the Kinburn Community Centre on April 25 from 7 p.m. until closing. Music will be provided by Jamie McMunn. It is a cash bar, there will be food available, a 50/50 draw and two sides of black angus beef to be auctioned off.
