Search the Bunker for sweets this Hallowe’en

CARP – The Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum is hosting Hallowe’en fun for your littlest haunts.

The annual Toddler’s Hallowe’en Hunt provides a daytime activity for parents and their youngest on the haunted holiday as the museum invites you and your toddler anytime Thursday, Oct. 31 between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

“Come dressed up in your favourite costume,” museum staff released in a statement. “Discover spooky, and cute, ghosts and monsters throughout the museum as you collect treats. There’s plenty of open space to run around and have fun in the Bunker. Feel free to bring a lunch and eat in our cafeteria.”
Staff advise the best way to get around underground is with a baby carrier.

“The government wasn’t thinking about navigating around in a stroller when they built the bunker back in the early ‘60s,” staff said.

The event is free to children under five-years-old and the museum is charging by donation for parents, grandparents and caregiver with kids.

Parking is always free. No reservations required.
