Ridge Rock fundraising for breast cancer awareness month

CARP – The Ridge Rock Brewing Company is taking up the challenge of raising money for breast cancer research throughout October.

“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with the support of our wonderful community Ridge Rock has committed to donating 25 per cent of profits from select menu and retail items to Breast Cancer Action – Ottawa,” restaurant management released in a statement yesterday (Oct. 5). “While we know first hand how hard restaurants have been hit this year, charities have been facing similar struggles with many of their key fundraisers unable to occur, or being held virtually instead. Although we don’t have as many tables as usual, we’re grateful to have our doors open and hope you’ll join us to support this important cause.”

The popular Carp brewery and restaurant has partnered with West Carleton’s only winery KIN Vineyards, Dandurand and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.

Ridge Rock has some sweet swag to mark the event as well.

“The special edition pink Ridge Rock t-shirts, men’s and women’s, are arriving (yesterday),” the Ridge Rock said. “you’re going to want one. Thank you to our partners for their support in this initiative.”
