Register for city’s virtual, in-person arts centres’ courses Nov. 2

OTTAWA – Spice up your fall on a new note, with a splash of colour or by adding a new step and register for the city’s virtual and in-person arts courses, starting today, (Nov. 2) at 9 p.m.

“The Arts Centres’ eGuide is now online for you to peruse visual and digital arts courses, dance classes and music lessons, such as keyboard or guitar,” city staff released in a statement. “The courses are offered as both modified in-person sessions or virtually within the comfort of your own home.”

Courses will begin on Nov. 6.

Registration begins on Monday, Nov. 2 at 9 p.m., and it is easy. Select the program that interests you and follow these simple steps:

  • Go to ottawa.ca.
  • Click the relevant barcode – it will take you to the course page with details about the number of spaces available, fees and dates.
  • Add the class to your cart and then proceed through the check out. We will email you your receipt. 

Visit ottawa.ca to see the COVID-safety protocols and measures that are in place for our in-person classes – including mask requirements, frequent cleaning, no sharing of equipment and tools, reduced capacity to a maximum of 10 people, and physical distancing. A home kit will be provided for those taking virtual painting courses.
