CARP – Babysitting is a big responsibility often put upon a young person – make sure you’re up to snuff by taking the Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course.

The Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre will be offering the course Saturday, May 11.

The course is open to youth aged 11 to 14.

“The Red Cross Babysitting Course will provide the training young babysitters need,” EcoWellness Centre owner Katherine Willow said. “Participants will learn how create and manage a babysitting business and how to supervise younger siblings or other children in a safe and responsible manner. Aspiring babysitters also learn basic first aid skills.”

The cost is $65 plus HST. Limited space is available.
