WEST CARLETON – The City of Ottawa’s new 12-month waste and recycling collection calendar is being delivered by mail to Ottawa households this week. The new collection calendar runs until June 2020.

The calendar can be viewed online at ottawa.ca. Residents can also sign up for collection day reminders by email, Twitter, and phone. The Recollect app is also available for free on Google Play and the Apple App Store, where users can get waste and recycling collection information, calendars, and the latest updates on their phone or tablets.

People are also reminded to put their recycling, green bin and waste at the curb any time after 6 pm on the evening before collection day, and no later than 7 am on collection day.
