KINBURN – The Rabbit Path will be closed to through traffic all five work days next week.

The gravel road just outside of Kinburn will be open only to local traffic as the city does some much needed work on the path that provides a trail for more than just rabbits.

“The Rabbit Path from Loggers Way to John Shaw Road will be closed in both directions beginning Monday, Aug. 10 to Friday, Aug. 14 for road rehabilitation work,” city staff released in a statement today (Aug. 6). “A signed detour will be in place for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.”

The easiest access points to John Shaw Road or Loggers Way will be via the Kinburn Side Road on the east side or the Galetta Side Road on the west side.
