Police seeking witnesses for Nepean shooting
NEPEAN — The Ottawa Police (OPS) Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting in the Briargreen area yesterday (Feb. 25) evening, just behind the Pinecrest Cemetery.
“At approximately 8:10 p.m., frontline patrol officers responded to a call about gunshots heard in the area of Meadowbank Drive and Crofton Road,” the OPS released in a statement today (Feb. 26). “Responding officers did not locate any property damage, nor was anyone with injuries located in that area.”
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about the incident.
