Police seek three in Corkery assault
CORKERY — Ottawa police are seeking three suspects responsible for attacking a Corkery resident on his own property Monday afternoon (June 8).
“The Ottawa police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify three men responsible for an assault in the 500 block of Beavertail Road on June 8,” the Ottawa Police Service released in a statement today (June 10).
At approximately 1:30 p.m., three men were observed trespassing on a property by the owner. The male victim approached the men and asked them to leave.
“At that time, the three men attacked the victim without provocation,” the OPS said. “They struck him with fists and feet and also used a rock. They fled the scene in a vehicle when a passerby approached. The victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.”
The police say the suspects’ vehicle is described as an early 2010 brown Toyota Corolla bearing Ontario plates.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1 – Caucasian male, 20-25 years old, with black hair wearing a black baseball cap.
Suspect 2 – Caucasian male, 16-20 years old, 5’9”-5’10” (175-178cm), thin build with blonde hair. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.
Suspect 3 – Caucasian male, 20-25 years old, 5’2”-5’5” (157-165cm) thin build and clean shaven. He was wearing a grey t-shirt.
