Police seek suspects in Stonehaven assault

KANATA – Ottawa police are looking for four people who may have witnessed an assault in a Kanata convenience store Sept. 26.

Frontline officers responded to an assault in the 1-100 block of Stonehaven Drive on Sept. 26.

“At approximately 9:40 p.m., a man attended a convenience store and was approached by another man,” the Ottawa Police Services (OPS) released in a statement today (Oct. 5). “The suspect struck the man, who fell to the ground and briefly lost consciousness. The suspect fled the area on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries.”

Investigators are looking to speak with the four people who may have witnessed the incident.
