Police search for Kanata B&E thief

KANATA – Police are on the look out for a daytime thief who hit two homes in one day.

“Investigators from Break and Enter Unit are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect involved in a daytime residential Break and Enter from Thursday Aug. 15 on Naismith Crescent in Kanata,” the Ottawa Police Service released in a statement today (Sept. 17). “This same suspect was also captured on video on Amberwood Crescent on the same day.”

The suspect is a Latin male, believed to be in his late 20s to late 30s, and at the time of the incident was wearing a black baseball cap, white ear buds, and a white and blue striped golf shirt.
