Police release photo in Nov. 1 Kanata robbery

KANATA — Ottawa police released a photo today (Dec. 21) of a suspect wanted in a convenience store robbery at the start of November.

“The robbery unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who robbed a convenience store in the 1-100 block of Edgewater Street in Kanata on Nov. 1,” the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) released in a statement today. “The male suspect entered the convenience store, spoke very little and used a note to demand money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.”

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male with dark facial hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a light grey Puma Hoodie and dark pants.
