Police investigating targeted Stittsville shooting
STITSVILLE – Ottawa police are investigating an overnight shooting in Stittsville today (Jan. 28), and are looking for tips from the public.
“Today, frontline patrol officers responded to a call for service at approximately 10:30 a.m. about a possible firearm discharge that occurred overnight resulting in property damage to a home in the 600 block of Continental Avenue,” the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) released in a statement this evening.
There were no injuries reported.
“The Guns and Gangs Unit is now leading the investigation and believe the shooting was a targeted incident,” the OPS said.
