Police investigate three separate shootings over weekend

OTTAWA – Ottawa police have their hands full after a weekend that had three separate shootings.

“The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating three separate shootings incidents that occurred over the past weekend and is seeking the public’s assistance for information,” the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) released in a statement today (July 28).

Saturday, July 25, at 11:40 p.m., shots were fired at a residence in the 1-100 block of Ritchie Street. There were no injuries reported, no one has been arrested.

Sunday, July 26, at 12:55 a.m., shots were fired outside of a residence in the 1200 block of Summerville Avenue. No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.

Monday, July 27, at 12:20 a.m., shots were fired at a residence in the Woodridge Crescent in the Bayshore area. No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
