Owner/operator Tracey Jardine made the announcement today (Nov. 4).

“We are now booking sleigh rides from Dec. 21, onwards,” Jardine released in a statement. “COVID-19 measures in place.”

Sleigh riders meet at Pinto Valley Ranch in their country hall until all the guests have arrived where COVID-19 protocols laid out by City of Ottawa Public Health Unit will be explained.

The ranch’s large sleigh is pulled by a team of “wonderful horses out along the scenic trails through the forest for 45 minutes to one hour.”

“Due to COVID-19, this sleigh package is for 10 people maximum,” Jardine said. “This number includes adults and children. Please ensure you are with people from your bubble. Feel free to bring blankets and snuggle up with your friends and loved ones.”

Included in the sleigh ride is the use of the country hall for one hour afterwards where you can warm up by the wood stove with a cup of hot chocolate.

Participants also have the option of adding a bonfire with marshmallows to the event.
