Pinhey’s Point star-gazing snowshoe trips are back

PINHEY’S POINT – Strap on the snowshoes and view the stars in the absolute darkness of Pinhey’s Point starting in February.

The Pinhey’s Point Historic Site’s Snowshoeing Under the Start event is back for another season.

“Explore beautiful Pinhey’s Point on a guided snowshoe hike under the starry night sky,” Pinhey’s Point staff released in a statement. “Learn about the history of the Pinhey family and how they, and other early settlers, survived winters in March Township. Warm up with some delicious hot cocoa served by an open fire. Snowshoes are provided.”
