Ottawa man charged with historic sexual assaults
OTTAWA — Darrell Bellorose was arrested and charged with five counts of sexual assault and 12 other related charges yesterday (May 13) and police are concerned there could be more victims.
On May 13, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section charged an Ottawa man, following an investigation into historical allegations of Sexual assault.
An investigation was commenced in the fall of 2018 involving
two young girls between the ages of seven and 14. The incidents occurred
between 1997 and 2002.
As a result, Darrell BELLROSE, 63 years old, of Ottawa was charged with five
counts of sexual assault, six counts of sexual interference, three counts of
invitation to sexual touching, two counts of assault and one count of uttering
threats. he is currently in custody awaiting show cause court. SACA
investigators are concerned there could be other victims.Anyone with
