OPS seek witness in fatal Kanata collision


KANATA – The Ottawa Police Services (OPS) is looking for witnesses in yesterday’s (July 15) fatal motor vehicle collision in Kanata.

“The Ottawa Police Collisions Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision which occurred on Monday July 15, at the intersection of Carling Avenue and Moodie Drive. At 8:52 p.m.,” the OPS released in a statement. “Officers responded to a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle. A 55-year-old man who was the driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital.”

The investigation is ongoing and investigators are seeking witnesses to the collision.
