OPS seek two small attempted murder suspects

LOWERTOWN — Ottawa police are on the hunt for two small men, suspected of attempted murder.

“The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking assistance in identifying the following two suspects in connection with an attempted murder that occurred downtown earlier this evening,” the OPS released in a statement today (March 20). “The male in the red hat is wanted for attempted murder. He is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years, short stature standing approximately 5’5”. The second male seen on the right in the grey coat and sunglasses is approximately 5’8” with a medium build and is wanted for party to the offence of attempted murder.”

Police were called to the 200 block of Murray Street in the ByWard Market to find a single victim suffering stab wounds.

“The public is advised to exercise caution and not to approach either suspect,” the OPS said.
