OPP find drugs in Horton traffic stop in weekly round-up
RENFREW COUNTY – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated 228 calls for service between Sept. 7 and Sept. 13.
On Sept. 7 officers with the Renfrew OPP Detachment were dispatched to a dropped 911 call on Elgin Avenue in the Town of Renfrew. As a result of the investigation Tyler Edwards, 35 of the Town of Renfrew was charged with fail to comply with probation order. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Oct. 21.
Arnprior and Renfrew officers investigated 10 domestic disputes during the past week.

On Sept. 9, officers with the Renfrew OPP Detachment were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Highway 17 in the Township of Horton. The vehicle was located and stopped by officers. As a result of the investigation, Cody Moriarity, 38 of the City of Pembroke was charged with three counts of possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of fail to comply with probation order. Joshua Spence, 29 of the City of Pembroke was charged with three counts of possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and resist peace officer. Teressa Hammil, 19 of the City of Pembroke has been charged with three counts of possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking. All three accused were held for Bail Hearing and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
On Sept. 7, an officer with the Renfrew OPP Detachment was on general patrol and conducted a traffic stop on Highway 132 in the Township of Admaston-Bromley. As a result of the investigation Kevin Crawford, 47 of Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, was charged with impaired driving, and driving with blood alcohol concentration over 80. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Oct. 7.
On Sept. 9, officers with the Renfrew OPP Detachment were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Raglan Street South in the Town of Renfrew. As a result of the investigation Joshua Crouter, 31 of the Town of Renfrew was charged with impaired driving, and driving with blood alcohol concentration over 80. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Oct. 7.
On Sept. 12, officers with the Renfrew OPP Detachment were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Cobden Road in the Township of Admaston-Bromley Township. As a result of the investigation Kamila Imbir, 30 of the Township of Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards has been charged with impaired driving, and driving with blood alcohol concentration over 80. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Oct. 21.
On Sept. 11, an officer with the Renfrew OPP Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in the Township of Whitewater Region. As a result of the investigation, Jeremy LaRiviere, 41 of the Township of Laurentian Valley was charged with operation of motor vehicle while prohibited under the criminal code. The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Oct. 21.
