Online auction in support of Hastings family on now
CONSTANCE BAY – Tree Pose Yoga’s online auction to benefit the Hastings family is now open and ready for your bids.
Tree Pose Yoga owner Victoria Lefebre is hosting the auction to raise funds for Jennifer Hastings’ family. Several local businesses, including West Carleton Online, have donated items for the community to bid on.
Hastings, of Richmond, was well known for her support of small businesses everywhere. Hastings passed away on May 16 at the age of 43.
“Jennifer was a resilient tower of strength who gave selflessly to others and touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her,” her family wrote in her obituary.
“Welcome to our online auction with items donated from small businesses in and around the Ottawa area to raise funds to support the family of dearly missed sister Jen Hastings,” Lefebre said.
Bidding opened this morning (June 8 and will continue until Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m.
