Needham’s corn maze offering fundraising opportunities
HWY. 29 – Needham’s Market Garden is getting its corn maze ready for the spooky season and is offering organizations an opportunity to fundraise.
The Needham’s Annual Haunted Corn Maze is almost ready go but could use a few spooky souls to help out. Owner Glen Needham is looking for sports teams and organizations looking to do some fundraising and an opportunity to work together.
Volunteers who offer to dress up in costume and provide a bit of ambience in the maze will also be given the opportunity to set up a table or booth, share information on their organization or team and fundraise for their favourite cause.
The maze opens starting tomorrow (Oct. 10) and runs every Thursday to Sunday from then until the end of the haunting season (Oct. 31). Haunting starts at dusk until 9 p.m. Needham’s Market Garden is located at 1335 Highway 29.
“It’s a night full of treats, some tricks and loads of fun,” Needham released in a statement.
For visitors, it is $6 per person or $20 for the whole family. All children who come in costume are admitted free.
“Bring your own flashlight or glow sticks are available for purchase,” Needham said. “Donations to the teams and clubs are welcomed and greatly appreciated.”
