WEST CARLETON – The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) has released their 2018 annual report.

The MVCA is one of Ontario’s 36 conservation authorities. The MVCA assumes a leadership role in the conservation, enhancement and development of the Mississippi Valley by way of watershed planning, integrated resource management programs and conservation awareness.

2018 board members from the Ottawa area include Coun. Eli El-Chantiry, John Karau, Carp’s Janet Mason (who was vice chair in 2018 and now sits as chair in 2019), Phil Sweetnam and Marianne Wilkinson.

“Every year we assess work performed and present findings in an annual report,” the MVCA released in a statement last week. “Our 2018 Annual Report has been released and is available online.”
