Movie and a dinner in Kinburn this weekend

KINBURN – Take in a movie and a dinner this weekend at the Kinburn Community Centre – just not on the same night.

On Friday, Nov. 15 the Kinburn Community Association (KCA) will be presenting Frozen at 6 p.m.

“Please join us as we take a trip to Arendelle with Elsa and Anna and friends as we watch Frozen,” the KCA released in a statement. “The KCA is happy to host Frozen as our second movie night at the Kinburn Community Centre. We would like to celebrate the upcoming release of Frozen 2 with no one other than Elsa, Anna and of course you.”

The movie is $5 per person and that includes popcorn and juice boxes. Please bring your own chair or blanket.

“Everyone is welcome to dress in their favourite Frozen outfits,” the KCA said.

The bar will be open for adult refreshments and pop. The movie Frozen will be gifted to one lucky person after the event.

On Sunday, Nov. 17 the St. John’s Anglican Church Annual Turkey Dinner will be held at the Kinburn Community Centre.

“Mark your calendars everyone,” the KCA said. “It’s time again for this amazing annual dinner. We are so excited. We hope to see everyone there.”

The dinner runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the door – $18 for adults and $7 for children aged seven to 12. Ages six and under are free.
